Andre A. Brochetelli is an attorney at French & Casey, LLP in New York City. His practice is devoted to commercial and general liability matters including premises liability, labor law, insurance coverage, subrogation, contract review, property damage and professional and products liability.
Prior to joining the firm, Andre defended the interests of both a national and global insurance and financial services company and served as National Coordinating Counsel for a chain of retail markets.
Mr. Brochetelli’s practice emphasizes making effective risk management decisions with a sensitivity to the client’s needs and budget. This includes assessing contractual risk and corporate policies and procedures to manage and deter litigation.
Mr. Brochetelli regularly mentors new lawyers and is an active member of the New York American Inn of Court, an organization dedicated to professionalism, mentoring and the debate of cutting edge legal issues.
His reported appellate cases include: Martinez v. National Amusements, Inc., 50 A.D.3d 302, 855 N.Y.S.2d 82 (1st Dep't 2008); and Alfonseca v. Van-Tag Construction Corp., 39 A.D.3d 266, 833 N.Y.S.2d 458 (1st Dep't 2007).

Successfully dismissed a labor law action arising from a worker’s disabling hand injury that occurred while moving a piece of structural steel at a worksite.
Successfully defended a well-known Brooklyn Congregation in an action arising from injuries that occurred on the premises.
Successfully defended a national container company against a suit alleging the negligent placement of a container.
Successfully defended a construction company from contractual liability arising from a worksite incident.
