Tara Bhupathi

Associate

Tara Bhupathi is an associate at French & Casey. A native New Yorker, Tara was a summer associate with French & Casey in 2009 and joined the firm as an associate in 2012. Tara has experience in both corporate law and litigation, including trademark, copyright, licensing, construction, insurance and trusts and estates.

Tara was the winner of the 2009 Law School Initiative Writing Competition for the New York State Bar Association’s Entertainment, Art and Sports Law Journal in which her article Who Do You Play For? How The Ninth Circuit’s Rejection of U.S.A. Swimming’s Motion to Dismiss Protects the Integrity of Sport and Stimulates Technological Development was published. While in law school, Tara was a staff member and editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology in which her article High Frequency Trading: the Strategies, Tools, Risks and Responses was published.

Tara was a member of the rowing team in college and the triathlon team while in law school. She has completed several triathlons and most recently finished her second New York City Marathon.
