Jenna E. Elkind is an attorney at French & Casey, LLP and has been with French & Casey for over eight (8) years. Ms. Elkind is responsible for litigating cases in the following areas: construction accidents, property damage, premises liability, product liability defense, and insurance coverage matters. Ms. Elkind also counsels clients in estate planning and the preparation and execution of wills and trust agreements, as well in litigating estate matters before the Surrogates Courts. Prior to joining French & Casey, LLP, Ms. Elkind handled all phases of complex litigation in state and federal courts, including labor law, personal injury, Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, commercial and real estate litigation, as well as general contractual disputes.
Ms. Elkind has extensive experience litigating matters in the New York Supreme Courts and before the First and Second Department Appellate Divisions, as well as handling mediations, arbitrations and multi-party settlement negotiations.
Ms. Elkind is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
Ms. Elkind received her J.D. at Boston University School of Law in 2007. Ms. Elkind earned her undergraduate degree in Economics, cum laude, from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2004.
Ms. Elkind is fluent in Russian and has works with the Russian community in a variety of legal matters.
