Margaret N. McGannon is an attorney with French & Casey, LLP. Prior to joining French & Casey, LLP, Ms. McGannon clerked for the Honorable J. Douglas McCullough of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

Ms. McGannon earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Ms. McGannon interned in a private firm specializing in corporate transactions as well as with a public interest organization supporting veterans’ and juvenile immigrants’ rights. She also interned with the Special Litigation Division of the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

Prior to law school, Ms. McGannon taught eighth grade science in Glendale, Arizona as a member of Teach for America. Thereafter, she was a University Innovation Fellow at Arizona State University. She holds a Master’s in Education from Arizona State University.

Ms. McGannon graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy, as well as a Certificate in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. At Duke, Ms. McGannon served as the Vice President of Student Affairs for Duke Student Government.
