Susan A. Romano is a partner with French & Casey, LLP having joined the practice as an associate in 2001.  Prior to her association with the firm, she worked in-house defending claims for a major New York City privately held corporation. Ms. Romano also worked with a well-known insurance defense litigation firm before associating with Mr. French.

Ms. Romano concentrates her practice on insurance litigation, construction accidents, with emphasis on scaffolding and hoist clients, premises liability, and sports litigation.  She devotes the majority of her efforts to the areas of construction litigation and handles a variety of complex matters involving major construction projects in the NYC metropolitan area.  She is actively engaged in the defense of scaffolding contractors and assists clients in evaluating contractual issues and implementing strategies to reduce liability.  Ms. Romano has also successfully defended amateur sports organizations, including a prominent gymnasium, in suits related to organized events throughout the state. 

Ms. Romano shares the firm’s commitment to mentoring its junior associates and works with them to hone their skills and develop their unique talents.   Ms. Romano takes pride, as do all of French & Casey’s attorneys and staff, in handling matters with professionalism and concern.
