Sarah A. Trepel is an Associate Attorney at French & Casey, LLP. Ms. Trepel joined the firm in January 2018. Prior to working at French & Casey, LLP she represented defendants in criminal proceedings throughout New York City. Ms. Trepel has experience in courtroom advocacy, motion practice, and trial preparation. She has defended clients in state and complex federal matters. Ms. Trepel is detail oriented and dedicated to providing effective and competent representation to each of her clients.
Ms. Trepel is an excellent negotiator and has successfully negotiated dispositions in numerous cases. She conducts herself with the highest level of professionalism when communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel.
Ms. Trepel was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2015. She earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School, where she also received a certificate in International and Comparative Law. In law school, Ms. Trepel was a managing editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law
She was actively involved in the Tulane Criminal Litigation Clinic, where she represented indigent clients in post-conviction and habeas proceedings. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Trepel received a certificate of recognition for outstanding pro bono service.
Ms. Trepel earned her B.A. from New York University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She double majored in International Relations and German Language and Literature.
