Defense Verdict in Queens Supreme Court January 25, 2017  On Monday, January 23, 2017, we obtained a defense verdict for our clients in Klimowicz v. First Department Sides With French & Casey LLP in Multi-Million Dollar Labor Law Dispute

    In Serowick v. Leardon Boiler Works, Inc., Index No. 309306/2010, plaintiff and wife sued in Bronx County Supreme Court for $10,000,000 in damages under Labor Law §§ 200, 240(1) and 241(6) after he severed his entire forefinger and part of his middle of finger while delivering a vacuum tank to an Upper East Side location owned by French & Casey’s client. Another client that purchased the tank on behalf of the property owner was also named as a defendant. In response, we denied plaintiff’s claims and commenced a third-party action against plaintiff’s employer that handled the delivery and installation of the tank.
